Unhinged Trump accuses Kamala Harris of ‘murder’ and conspiracy with ‘cartel heads’

Days after calling Vice President Kamala Harris “mentally retarded” and “mentally retarded,” former President Donald Trump has added a new charge for his Democratic presidential opponent: murder.

Trump, the Republican candidate, said Harris killed Rachel Morin, a 37-year-old Maryland resident who was allegedly raped and murdered by 23-year-old undocumented migrant Victor Martinez Hernandez while she was running in August 2023.

Martinez Hernandez is charged with first-degree rape and first-degree murder.

Police say Martinez-Hernandez fled El Salvador and unlawfully entered the U.S. in February 2023 — during the Biden administration — after being accused of killing a woman in his native country.

“I am outraged that (Harris) allowed in the savage who raped and murdered Rachel Morin,” Trump said during a speech in Wisconsin on Tuesday. “Kamala let her in, let her in.

“She killed him,” Trump said, mixing up his pronouns. ‘I think she killed him. She acted like she had a gun in her hand.”

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said Martinez Hernandez was apprehended by Border Patrol for unlawfully entering the United States on Jan. 19, 2023, near Santa Teresa, New Mexico; January 31, 2023, in El Paso, Texas; and February 6, 2023 in Santa Teresa, New Mexico.

ICE said Martinez Hernandez unlawfully entered the US on February 13, 2023, near El Paso, Texas.

Trump also accused Harris, who prosecuted human trafficking cases while she was California’s attorney general, of conspiring with drug cartels.

Trump has been lying lately — lying about immigrants eating pets, claiming roving gangs are taking over hundreds of Midwestern cities, insisting that President Joe Biden is ignoring states that need help after Hurricane Helene, and now this baseless attacks on Harris.

“I will close all messages through Kamala’s migrant phone app. She has a phone app,” Trump said. ‘It’s meant for the cartel heads. The cartel heads call the app and tell them where to drop off the illegal migrants. … It’s not even believable.”

He’s right. It’s not.
