Joe Biden supports mafia-linked union boss in dock workers’ strike

Last updated on October 2, 2024

President Joe Biden has aligned himself with Harold Daggett, the mob-linked union boss driving the port strikes who earns more than $900,000 a year and once fought mob charges.

The International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA) port strike threatens to unleash disaster across Central America in the immediate aftermath of a tropical storm that ended hundreds of lives in multiple states and caused billions of dollars in damage.

George Bush’s Justice Department accused Daggett of being an “associate” with the Genovese crime family – one of the “Five Families” of the American Mafia in 2005.

Federal prosecutors charged Harold Daggett and a mafioso with racketeering, along with Lawrence Ricci, then 60, who prosecutors said was an acting captain in the Genovese crime family.

Longshoremen union executive vice president Albert Cernadas previously pleaded guilty in 2005 to conspiracy to commit mail fraud, and also pleaded guilty to wire fraud.

The DOJ also filed racketeering, conspiracy and fraud charges against Daggett in a civil suit under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.

Ricci did not appear in court for trial. Ricci’s body was found dead in a car a month after the trial.

Daggett’s strike could cost the U.S. economy billions a day if it continues.

Discussion of the strike was notably avoided during last night’s vice presidential debate. So far, Kamala Harris has been silent on this issue.

Former President Donald Trump blamed the strike on “the massive inflation created by the Harris-Biden regime,” according to Fox News.

The AP reports that “the 45,000 dock workers who went on strike On Tuesday, 36 U.S. ports, from Maine to Texas, could gain the upper hand for the first time in decades in their standoff with port operators wages and the use of automation.”

Daggett, who, despite the suspicious death of his mafioso co-defendant, was somehow found not guilty in 2005, has been extremely flamboyant in his threats to the American public.

Daggett, who looked very much like a New York mafioso, nearly cursed in a recent interview in which he threatened the American public with famine and economic impasse.

‘Who’s going to win here? In today’s world I will cripple you. I will paralyze you. and you… have no idea what that means. Nobody does that,” Daggett threatened.
