Man arrested for child pornography after CyberTip in Porterville

Porterville Police say 34-year-old Marty Joe Clayton Lester Jr. was arrested after detectives received the tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) of a Porterville resident who had uploaded a file containing child pornography.

After investigating, detectives found evidence that Marty was the one uploading and downloading child pornography.

An arrest warrant was issued and detectives executed a search warrant with members of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) at Marty’s home in the 800 block of South Crystal Street at 7:15 a.m. Wednesday.

They discovered multiple electronic devices were used as evidence.

Lester was arrested for distribution of child pornography, possession of child pornography and sexual exploitation of a child. Lester was later booked into the Tulare County South County Detention Facility where he is being held without bail.
