Punjab Police bust major drug syndicate in high-stakes arrest

The Punjab Police have successfully uncovered a major drug syndicate, culminating in the arrest of two persons and the recovery of 1.50 kg of heroin. According to Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav, the illegal drugs were cleverly concealed in half-sleeved jackets.

The suspects, identified as Sukhdeep Singh alias Raja of Bhana in Faridkot, and Krishan of Ajaib in Rohtak, also used a car on the pretext of driving a taxi to facilitate their smuggling operations.

Preliminary investigations indicate that these men obtained the heroin from an Afghan in Delhi, indicating an extensive network with international drug cartels. Efforts are on to arrest their associate, Lakhwinder Singh, a key player with multiple drug cases, and unravel the complexities of the syndicate.
