Man arrested at Greyhound Terminal after arriving in Nashville with thousands of counterfeit pills containing fentanyl

Specialized Investigations Division detectives intercepted thousands of counterfeit oxycodone pills that tested positive for fentanyl from an 18-year-old man Wednesday evening just after he stepped off a Greyhound bus from Dallas, Texas.

The Interdiction and Narcotics Units conduct routine periodic operations at the bus station in an effort to stem the trafficking of illegal drugs. On Wednesday evening, Ivan Corrales was found to be carrying a small duffel bag containing a bundle of duct tape. Wrapped in the duct tape were thousands of counterfeit blue M-30 pills weighing a total of more than five pounds.

Corrales told investigators he was given the pills in El Paso, Texas, and told to bring them here. He is charged with possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $75,000. Corrales had identification showing his place of residence in Alma, Arkansas.
