Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Digital Deluxe Edition (from $79.99 to 54.39) – Read our review here

Recommendations:

  • GTA 5 – (67%, $19.79) – For maybe the 2-3 people who still don’t own this: this is your chance, because it doesn’t get any lower than this. Maybe as GTA 6 nears launch, maybe? But do you want to wait that long?
  • WWE 2K24 (-50%, $59.99) – This game will be free on PS Plus in October. If you’re not a PS Plus member, this is a solid wrestling game with DLCs on the way.
  • Hogwarts Legacy Digital Deluxe (-70%, $23.99) – Fun game, whether you are a Harry Potter fan or not. No co-op or multiplayer of any kind, but it lets you live the dream of becoming a mass killing machine like Voldemort.
  • The Crew Motorfest (-60%, $27.99) – Still get support to this day. If you want a more arcade-y racing game.
  • AC Mirage (-50%, $24.99) – Last year’s Assassin’s Creed game. Perhaps not as big a hit as Valhalla, but it generally scores favorably on Metacritic.
  • Red Dead Redemption 2 (-70%, $29.99) – Some may not believe it or like it, but this is even better than GTA 5. Great story, fascinating side quests and lots of secrets. You can kill racist gangs, get anally raped, encounter a vampire and much more!
  • Madden 25 (-35%, $64.99) – Your annual NFL simulation. I can’t say if it’s good or not as I’m not a football fan, but if you’re thinking of buying this, then so be it.
  • Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League (-80%, $19.99) – Season 3 just launched, but I can’t really say if this is worth it since there’s a good chance it’ll be on PS+ soon?!
  • Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (-55%, $40.49) – Sequel to the Fallen Order, and better in almost every way. Cal isn’t running around like he has poop in his pants, the backtracking problem is more or less solved. There’s a third on the way, so if you’ve played the first, pick this one up.
  • Borderlands 3 Next Level Bundle (-90%, $6.99) – Includes a huge amount of DLC and the like. There’s a ton of Borderlands stuff for sale that fans might want to check out. This is well worth the purchase for those looking for co-op loot action, and there’s a free PS5 upgrade available too.
  • A Way Out (-80%, $5.99) – Usually on sale next to It Takes Two, so no need to rush it. Remember: this is a required co-op game, so if you don’t have anyone to play this with, don’t worry.
  • Pandora’s Avatar Boundaries (-50%, $39.99) – Ubisoft open word in Avatar! All kidding aside, better than expected. The Gold Edition, which includes the DLCs, is also available for purchase.
  • HiFi Rush Deluxe (-40%, $23.99) – Tango’s last game for Microsoft. GOTY contender and overall a different beast than what we usually get. It’s worth picking up, but YouTube first because the aesthetics, etc. may not suit what you’re looking for.
  • Midnight Suns (-75%, $19.99) – Strategy Marvel game. Fun, good length and challenging. Not an MCU, but it proves that the Marvel franchise can work in just about any genre as long as it’s done right.
  • LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Saga Deluxe Edition (-75%, $17.49) – Light-hearted Star Wars game that you can play with friends or your kids. Well-known LEGO gameplay, so expect a lot of humor.
  • Mafia 3 Final Edition (–75%, $7.49) – Period GTA but with a better story. There’s a new one coming out next year, so if you want to join in, now might be the time. Mafia 2 can also be purchased for the same price.
  • AC Valhalla (-60%, $15.99) – Viking Credo! Good action game, but be prepared to put a lot of time into it.
  • Red Dead Redemption + RDR2 Bundle (-45%, $54.99) – I’m not sure about RDR1 performance, but from a gameplay perspective it should still hold up somewhat.
  • Gotham Knights (-80%, $17.99) – Support has ended, but the game is technically complete. Bat Family are the stars here and you can create crazy combos. Maybe a bit repetitive, but not a bad game.
  • Back 4 Blood (-90%, $8.99) – Zombie co-op FPS! Fun with friends. Support has ended, but the servers are still active.
  • Alien Isolation The Collection (-85%, $5.99) – Horror done with the Aliens franchise. Don’t expect Resident Evil action, but do expect many exciting moments. Pick it up if you like horror games.
  • XCOM 2 Collection (-90%, $9.99) – Strategy game with weapons, aliens and did I say strategy?! Not an easy game.
