Local human trafficking safe haven with annual fundraising campaign

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – The Night of Hope is The Lampstand’s largest annual event in support of its mission to strengthen the lives of people vulnerable to and affected by sexual exploitation.

This year’s event will be hosted at Hotel Roanoke. Guests will enjoy live music, delicious hors d’oeuvres, dinner and desserts, a powerful message from former chairman of the U.S. Advisory Council on Human Trafficking, Robert Lung, and much more.

The best part of the evening starts at the end of the program! Each year we offer exclusive items for you to take home during our silent and live auction segments of the night. And yes, we’ll be bringing back the long-awaited therapeutic goodies with the help of actress Jen Lilley!

This year’s presenters are Logan and Taylor Sherrill. Minister Steve Henderson and The Roanoke Voices will lead everyone in music. Guests will also hear from The Lampstand’s residential care specialist who works in the safe home.

Roanoke Voices is a partnership of followers of Jesus Christ who combine their spiritual gifts to minister the Word of God through music and fellowship. The choir is located in Roanoke, Virginia and is led by Pastor Steve Henderson.

There are only a few tickets left. Visit thelampstandva.org to purchase yours or donate to the nonprofit organization The Lampstand.
