Monroe County man charged with sexual exploitation of a minor

A Monroe County man has been charged with child sexual exploitation.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, 45-year-old Ivan Nicholas Baez, of Kunkletown, was charged on Tuesday, October 1, with three counts of the crime.

The charges stem from Baez allegedly coercing a minor victim to create three different visual depictions of sexually explicit conduct in February and May 2024, according to the indictment.

The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Jenny Roberts. The Monroe County District Attorney’s Office investigated, along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Pennsylvania State Police.
