The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime continues its series on organized crime in Southeast Asia, this time focusing on Telegram.

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) has released a new report on cybercrime in Southeast Asia. This is the agency’s second report on this topic.

The UNODC published its first report on Southeast Asia in January, criticizing Tether’s role in the region’s economy.

The new report continues to track the “convergence of cyber fraud, underground banking and transnational organized crime.” Tether is mentioned, but this time Telegram (TON) gets much less favorable attention.
