General information

Goal

The First Nations International Fellowships and Partnerships Grants Program consists of two complementary grant programs, one to increase the number of First Nations Australians participating in international meetings (Fellowships), and the second to increase the capacity of First Nations Australians to build sustainable partnerships building across the Indo-Pacific. (Partnerships). The program will provide practical support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The program provides organizations with funding to send delegations of up to six Fellows/Partners to participate in international meetings or collaborations. In the first year of FY24-25, $650,000 will be available, divided evenly between Fellowships and Partnerships. Organizations can apply for both a Fellowship and a Partnership grant separately.
