According to information, a large number of farmers, including women, gathered outside the fertilizer distribution center at the agricultural produce market on Tuesday.

When tokens were about to be distributed, farmers started protesting due to limited availability.

The situation prompted local officials, including the SDM and Tehsildar, to reach the spot and started distributing tokens under police supervision.

Farmers expressed their frustration, stating that they had been waiting for days without receiving tokens. The situation is particularly critical as the rabi crop season is approaching and they are in dire need of fertilizer after suffering losses due to excessive rainfall during the kharif season.

In the village of Donari, farmers accused officials of negligence and alleged that some were hoarding fertilizer for the black market.

They claim that while the government is sending ample supplies, certain individuals are secretly handing out tokens to their acquaintances, leaving others to wait in line for days without success.

Reacting to the unrest, SDM Bhupendra Singh stated that there is no shortage of fertilizers and adequate supplies are available.

He acknowledged the chaos caused by the large crowds, which led to a temporary halt in the distribution of tokens, but assured that the situation would be better managed under police supervision.

Agriculture Minister Kansana also reiterated that there is no shortage of fertilizers in Morena and that there are sufficient supplies to meet the needs of farmers.

Despite these reassurances, farmers continue to express concerns and struggle to secure the fertilizer they need for their future crops.
