Lord Jamar claims Diddy was fired from Uptown Records because he was ‘caught in a precarious act’ with another man

Lord Jamar is back with bold claims about Diddy‘S early days in the music industry.

In a recent interview on The art of dialoguethe rapper claimed Diddy was fired as A&R at Uptown Records in the early 1990s, not because of his ambition as Diddy has stated before, but because of his sexuality.

Lord Jamar claimed: “He got caught in a precarious act, he did something very baby oily in the office,” referring to an incident involving another man.

While he did not name the alleged accomplice, Lord Jamar suggested Diddy is part of a so-called “gay mafia” within the industry, saying he is one of the “heads of the family.”

Diddy has previously discussed his dismissal from Uptown Records in 1993, in a 2006 interview with Oprah Winfrey

“I was very passionate and didn’t understand protocol or workplace politics, so I was fired because there can’t be two kings in one castle.”

His departure from the company eventually paved the way for the creation of Bad Boy Records.

The timing of these accusations comes as Diddy remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn and faces charges including sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation for prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty on all counts.
