The winner of Netflix’s ‘Culinary Class Wars’ has been revealed.

On the 8th, the final episodes of the much-discussed Netflix series ‘Culinary Class Wars’ were released. These episodes included the second round of the semi-finals, called “Endless Cooking Hell”, where the finalists were decided, and then the Grand Finale, where the final two contestants faced each other.

In the ultimate individual challenge, Endless Cooking Hell, four participants from the “Silver Spoon” team and three from the “Black Spoon” team, who were among the Top 8, competed.

The “Black Spoon” participant, Napoli Mafia, who had already secured a place in the final from the first semi-final, watched the intense showdown.

After fierce competition, Edward Lee, a contestant from the “Silver Spoon” team, was selected to advance to the final round.

The final challenge was titled “A dish you will never forget,“where unanimous agreement of the judges is the key to victory.

Both participants prepared dishes that reflected their different styles and presented the stories behind their creations to judges Baek Jong-won and Ahn Sung-jae, sharing their final stories.

In front of their fellow competitors, who had been with them throughout the competition, the judges successfully reached a unanimous decision.

The winner of the grand prize of KRW 300 million was Kwon Sung Junalso known as the “Black Spoon” participant, Napoli Mafia.

In a dramatic turn of events, Kwon Sung-jun revealed his real name, dropped the “Napoli Mafia” moniker, and completed his underdog story.

Kwon Sung-jun shared his thoughts on winning and said: “Now that I have won, I realize that the path I have been following for the past ten years was not wrong. In the future, I want to live as a chef, focusing solely on my home and the kitchen.”

Edward Lee also shared his feelings, saying: “I am a Korean-American. My passion and life’s work has been about bringing the beautiful ingredients of Korea to the US. It has been such a wonderful experience to be here,” in which he expressed his deep affection for Korea.

Kwon Sung-jun left a lasting impression by saying: “I want to run a restaurant where I can freely cook the food I want to show and share with others. What I want to do now is cook with complete freedom.”
