FlyQuest RED secured LAN Last appearance | ESL Impact S6 Week 6 Roundup

Now that the group stage is almost coming to an end, the final score is becoming increasingly determined. It’s no surprise that FlyQuest RED managed to qualify for the LAN Finals, while the rest of the podium is occupied by two surprising teams, FLUFFY MAFIA and Imp Pact.

On the other end of the spectrum, Nouns fe and TSM Impact have had a difficult season, alongside Blue Otter Karma.

FlyQuest RED 2-0 Blue Otter Karma

Two easy maps in FlyQuest RED’s favor were crucial victories for the organization to earn another LAN Final appearance. Nuke and Dust2 both finished at 13-3, while Vivienne “BiBiAhn” Quach finished the series with a Dust2 card of 2.11.

The next step for FlyQuest RED is to prove they are much more than just NA’s #1 women’s team and reach the later stages of the LAN Finals.

TSM impact 0-2 Imp pact

TSM Impact added a second straight defeat to its record, the third of the season. Imp Pact, on the other hand, added a second straight win after losing to FLUFFY MAFIA two weeks before this series. The new Shimmer core, which will finish the season with Imp Pact, topped the 2-0 series scoreboard. Mirage went the way of Imp Pact 13-10, and Inferno finished 13-7 in favor of Lilith “gadfly” Mize and company.

FLUFFY MAFIA 2-0 Consciously

Despite surprising everyone with a win over TSM Impact, Aware was unable to upset FLUFFY MAFIA despite coming close on the second card. Unfortunately for Aware, the entire FLUFFY MAFIA team came to play, and that would be the catalyst for the European team’s victory. The card results were 13-5 on Ancient and 13-10 on Anubis.

Nouns e.g 2-0 Lotus

For example, Nouns have finally broken their losing streak, but it’s too late to secure a Top 4 finish as 5th place is the best they can hope for. It was not easy against struggling Lotus, which has also had a disappointing season. 13-11 on Mirage and 13-9 on Dust2 in favor of Nouns, for example, sealed the deal.
