10:30 – The John Howard Society of Saskatchewan has spent much of this week before the Supreme Court of Canada, appearing in Ottawa for a case brought by the organization against the government of Saskatchewan. Pierre Hawkins, Public Legal Counsel, joins Evan from Ottawa on the final day of arguments.

Frank Caputo, Member of Parliament for Kamloops-Thompson-Caribou and graduate of the University of Saskatchewan School of Lawwrote Bill C-291, which seeks to change the wording in the Criminal Code from “child pornography” to “material relating to the sexual abuse and exploitation of children.” He joins Evan to discuss the bill.

12:00 noon Are you tired of having to use your nose to determine whether or not the milk in your refrigerator has gone sour? Researchers from Simon Fraser University and the University of Saskatchewan are developing a technology called printed electronics that could one day tell you when your milk has gone bad without even opening your refrigerator door. Loren Kaake, principal investigator from Simon Fraser University, joins Evan to share more about their findings.
