South Salt Lake man arrested on sexual exploitation and weapons charges

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A South Salt Lake man has been taken into custody on multiple charges, including sexual exploitation of a minor.

According to court documents, South Salt Lake Police Department officers executed a search warrant at the home of 39-year-old Jeramiah Johnson on Wednesday morning.

Johnson faces multiple charges of sexual exploitation of a minor, possession of a firearm by a restricted person and endangering a child or vulnerable adult.

He was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail.

Johnson is a KUTV photographer. He has been suspended pending an investigation.
