Sheriff warns of terror cells in America

Chuck Jenkins, the tough sheriff of Frederick County, Maryland, told a candlelight vigil in support of the victims of terrorism in Israel that he fears a wave of crime and violence will be planned into the United States by “terror cells” . foreign criminal gangs already on US soil.

While remembering the victims and praising Israel’s government for its response to the attack, Jenkins said the American people must understand that they face a similar threat here at home.

“America is unprepared for the brutality and violence coming into the country across the border,” he said. “Law enforcement is not prepared, the justice system is not prepared and Americans will not accept this.”

Although he did not say who was behind the campaign to destroy America and declined to discuss politics during the solemn occasion, which included lighting candles and singing American and Israeli national anthems, the fact is that Jenkins helped lead the roundup of illegal aliens and therefore became a known target of the Biden/Harris administration.

He was a very popular lawyer and was first elected in 2006.

“He took an aggressive stance on detaining undocumented immigrants accused of crimes, making him a national voice in that debate while sharpening opinions about him at home,” the liberal Washington Post admitted .

Jenkins was sued by a Biden-nominated U.S. attorney, Erek Barron, and was forced to defend himself in court over allegations of paperwork issues related to his office’s possession of certain weapons.

Barron previously worked for Obama Attorney General Eric Holder, involved in the “Fast & Furious” gun smuggling scandal involving arms transfers to Mexican drug cartels. The Republican Congress found him in contempt because he refused to comply with demands for documents about his role in this scandal. He thumbed his nose at the Republican Party.

“The same Islamic extremists who are trying to destroy Israel are now in this country and will try to destroy us,” Jenkins said at the ceremony commemorating the victims of the Hamas terrorist attacks on October 7.

Exposing the Islamist threat, Jenkins said a violent Venezuelan gang has also entered the United States, wreaking havoc through brutality and intimidation and trying to take over American cities, “and we have done nothing to stop it,” he said. he.

The sheriff, who has a policy of cooperating with federal authorities to deport criminal illegal aliens, said he has learned that members of radical terrorist groups are being released in “all corners of our country.”

“For three and a half years, we have left our borders wide open to millions of illegal aliens,” including not only radical Islamists but also drug cartels, transnational criminal gangs and human traffickers, he noted.

Jenkins drew what he called “troubling similarities” between Israel and the United States over the Biden/Harris administration’s open border policies.

He said that “the same forces that seek to destroy Israel” have been “invited” into the United States.

Like Israel, the United States is fighting for its survival, he said, but is now in a “weak” position to defend itself while “we are on the brink of a world war in the Middle East.”

“We are not protecting Americans on our own soil from possible terrorist attacks, violence from criminal gangs (and) cartels and terrorist cells…”

The event was organized by Alexandra Levine, a Jewish American conservative who supported Trump and who implored vigil participants to educate their fellow citizens about the anti-Israel orientation of Democratic Party members.

The event was co-hosted by Fred Propheter, chairman of the Frederick County Conservative Club, who also expressed support for Israel.

Republican congressional candidate Neil Parrott also spoke.

Jenkins said he attended the National Sheriffs’ Association conference in February and saw a film of the barbaric attack on Israel, recorded by the Hamas terrorists themselves through captured bodycam footage and on-site security cameras.

The images showed beheadings, executions, brutal murders in all forms, burnings of living people and rapes of hundreds of women ‘as they lay next to the corpses of relatives’.

He said he had never seen anything so brutal, sickening and shocking.

As the 50 or so assembled sheriffs watched the footage, Jenkins said many of them, with 30 or more years of law enforcement experience, stood up and walked out of the room, sickened by what they had seen.

“Yet these atrocities were committed in front of family members who were still alive and watching,” he said. “There’s nothing worse than what I saw that day.”

He said corpses and living people were brought into Gaza by the terrorists and dragged through the streets “while women and children cheered.”

America and Israel are allies in this confrontation, he said. “This is a battle of civilizations,” the sheriff continued. “We are fighting the same evil, the same enemy.”

Responding to the Biden/Harris administration’s attempts to limit how Israel defends itself, Jenkins said the US should not question the Netanyahu administration’s resources or military strategy.

Harris has demanded a ceasefire in the conflict, meaning the absence of a total victory by Israel, and the establishment of an Islamic Palestinian state on a permanent basis alongside Israel, from which another massacre could be staged.

However, Jenkins emphasized that the American people are already under attack today, with women and girls being targeted, assaulted and brutally murdered by criminal illegal aliens.

“Criminals from the most violent countries in the world are entering our country,” he said.

“This is all preventable,” he added, in the context of claiming that this is a policy “orchestrated” at the highest levels of the US government.
