Phoenix Suns stun the entire NBA with blockbuster Kevin Durant trade proposal

For example, the Los Angeles Lakers’ best trade offer for Durant is public.

This week, Dan Le Batard suggested that the Miami Heat may have their eyes on Kevin Durant.

“I don’t believe the Heat are going to come trade deadline this coming year and say, ‘Oh yeah, we still think we’re as good as the 76ers.’ Pat Riley has no reason in the world to be working at almost 80 years old,” Le Batard said.

“He’s not going to wait for another young team to come along and ferment. The things they’ve done with young guys are things Pat Riley has never done in his career. The next play is going to be an assortment of pieces that get a year of max Jimmy Butler and then he’s going to try to get Kevin Durant back. I’ve been under the impression that that’s the play they’re going to try to make.”

A Durant trade would shock the entire NBA to its core, regardless of who makes the move.

If Riley and the Heat are the ones to pull the trigger, it will have huge implications for the entire league.

Will Durant end up in Miami when all is said and done? Only time will tell.
