Authorities encountered a large group of vehicles on Sandy Spring Road exhibiting reckless driving. Officers increased their presence and took targeted enforcement action, effectively dispersing the group from the area.

  • Driver rescued after collision with vehicle that overturned

    PITTSBURGH, PA – Early Thursday morning, emergency personnel from Pittsburgh EMS, fire and police were called to the scene of a vehicle that rolled over at the intersection of Banksville Road and Carnahan Road. A woman was found trapped inside an overturned vehicle.

    Upon arrival, Public Safety units confirmed the entrapment. Rescue efforts were carried out by Medic 3, who provided immediate care to the victim and applied protective measures inside the destroyed vehicle.

    At the same time, EMS Rescue 2 worked to stabilize the vehicle and removed the windshield, allowing for the safe extrication of the patient. The woman was then transported to the hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.

    Thanks to the rapid response and coordinated efforts of the emergency services, the victim was able to receive quick and effective medical assistance on site.

  • Deadly shooting on East Armat Street

    PHILADELPHIA, PA – A 20-year-old man was fatally shot this afternoon in the Unit block of East Armat Street. The incident, which involved multiple gunshot wounds to the upper chest, occurred at 2:04 p.m.

    Police arrived quickly and transported the victim, a black male, to Albert Einstein Medical Center. Despite prompt medical attention, he was pronounced dead at 2:50 p.m.

    No weapons have been found so far and the circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under investigation. Further updates will be provided as authorities continue their investigation.
