Road works in Kakaako to begin

Now that the legal ownership issues have been resolved, the streets of Kakaako in one of Honolulu’s major residential and business centers are set to undergo long-awaited repairs and renovations to fix potholes, bumps and general neglect. State and city officials announced at a news conference Friday that road and street projects in Kakaako will begin in mid-August.
