July is here and American craft brewers are responding to the rising temperatures with an intriguing selection of refreshing beers that you’ll definitely want to stock up on.

Time to get wild (Atlanta, GA) – Sweetwater Brewing, one of the Southeast’s largest craft brewers and Atlanta United’s “Official Craft Beer Partner,” is celebrating this great Major League Soccer alliance with a new beer. Brewed in collaboration with Atlanta United, who joined the league in 2017 and won the 2018 MLS Cup in just its second season, Freshwater Rowdy Peach IPA is a 6.8% ABV Peach India Pale Ale and is available at all Atlanta United home games in the brewery’s taproom.

“Atlanta United is excited to bring Rowdy Peach IPA to our fans as part of our partnership with SweetWater Brewing,” said Garth Lagerwey, President and CEO of Atlanta United. “We share SweetWater’s commitment to innovation and this partnership is a testament to the passion and energy of our fans.”

Home brewed (Wells, ME) – Batson River Brewing & Distilling, a unique independent craft brewery in Maine, is celebrating its own backyard with a new beer that uses only locally sourced ingredients. Made with ingredients exclusively from local partners like Blue Ox Malt House, Champlain Valley Hops, and The Hop Yard, Home Fields of the Batson River is a Pale Ale with an alcohol percentage of 5.3%, a fresh malt character, a robust hop profile and clear notes of fresh pine and lemongrass.

“This special recipe celebrates the exceptional quality of ingredients right here in our backyard,” said Batson River Operations Director Jon Quade. “Home Fields Pale Ale not only represents our roots, but also showcases the mutual benefits that come from local partners working together.”

Best combined with the beach (Cape May, NJ) – Cape May Brewing has a new addition to its ever-evolving roster that the brewery says is “best paired with relaxing on the beach, hanging out by the pool, and having a good time with friends.” Session-ready, but high on flavor, Cape May Beach Casting IPA is a very approachable Session IPA with an alcohol percentage of 4%, brewed with Golden Naked Oats, Citra and Cascade Hops, all of which complement the fresh notes of juniper berries.
