Did you know that column for July 18, 2024

Did you know… what this business was and where it was located? It was Ringheim’s Dry Goods Store at 1208 2nd St. A fire at that location destroyed the building in 1898. They moved south to a location on the Triangle for a few years, and when a new building was built, they moved back to their original location. The store sold garden supplies and sewing supplies for many years. With the sad loss of Ben’s Five & Dime, I don’t think there is a location that sells garden supplies in Perry.

Next week…

Did you know… who is in the photo and where in Perry this photo was taken?
