Rainbow Water Polo Team Places 15th on ACWPC All-Academic Team | News, Sports, Jobs

HONOLULU — The University of Hawaii women’s water polo team has named 15 players to the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches’ Women’s All-Academic team for the 2024 season.

The All-Academic list includes three levels of grade point average — Outstanding (4.0-3.71), Superior (3.70-3.41) and Excellent (3.40-3.20). Five UH players were recognized in the Outstanding category, six were named to the Superior list and four to the Excellent category.

The Rainbow Wahine had 15 players earn All-Academic honors for the second year in a row. They also earned All-Academic recognition as a team with a combined GPA of 3.40 while going 23-4 and capturing the Big West championship and advancing to the semifinals of the Women’s National Collegiate Water Polo Championship.
