One dead after shooting on Acapulco Drive in Augusta

AUGUSTA (WJBF) – The Richmond County Coroner’s Office responded to Wellstar MCG in reference to a shooting that left one person dead on Acapulco Drive in Augusta.

According to the coroner’s office, the victim was shot at least once and found in the parking lot of 2400 Acapulco Drive.

The victim was taken by ambulance to Wellstar MCG and was pronounced dead at 1:23 a.m. Saturday morning.

An autopsy has been scheduled.
