Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese are expected to star

Two rookies and longtime rivals – Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese – will team up for the first time on behalf of Team WNBA.

They faced each other multiple times in college, with Reese and the LSU Tigers defeating Clark’s Iowa Hawkeyes in the 2023 NCAA Championship before Clark got revenge in the 2024 Elite Eight.

In the 2024 WNBA Draft, the Indiana Fever drafted Clark first overall, and the Chicago Sky selected Reese seventh.

Since joining the WNBA, they have played each other three times, with the Fever winning two.

During the June 16 game, Reese was charged with a foul after punching Clark in the head.

The two were spotted together at a practice on Friday, where Reese defeated Clark in a half-court shooting contest.
