Gas station worker seriously injured after being hit by vehicle in East Hartford

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A gas station attendant was rushed to the hospital after being struck by a car in East Hartford this morning.

East Hartford Police Department officers responded to the Conoco gas station at 179 Main St. for a report of a pedestrian hit and run.

Police investigation revealed that the pedestrian was a store employee who was working when he was hit by a customer’s car.

The employee was taken to hospital with moderate to serious injuries.

According to police, no arrests have been made and the driver of the vehicle is cooperating with authorities.
