Elyria Catholic outfielder Jessica Conner is one of five Ohio softball players named a National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American.

After a 2024 season that resulted in numerous accolades, the rising sophomore and Morning Journal Softball Player of the Year was named third-team NFCA All-American.

The other Ohioans who received awards were Sydnie Watts (Austintown-Fitch), Macy Chaberlin (Evergreen), Abby Toth (Austintown-Fitch), Kaliana Ray (Austintown-Fitch) and Grace Gronberg (Danville).

Conner was also named Division II second-team All-Ohio and Great Lakes Conference Player of the Year.

She batted .588, drove in 40 runs and hit five home runs.

Elyria Catholic went 12-1 in the Great Lakes Conference West and 19-7 overall. The Panthers advanced to a Division II Parma District semifinal, where their playoff run ended against Akron Springfield.
