Barricaded man arrested along Richards Blvd

(FOX40.COM) — A man armed with a metal pole and barricaded in a truck disrupted traffic on Richards Boulevard in Sacramento Saturday, Sacramento police said.

Shortly before 1 p.m., police reported responding to an incident in the 500 block of Richard Boulevard and closing the road between Sequoia Pacific Blvd and 7th Street.

According to police, it is believed that the man robbed a local store.

After a confrontation of several hours, the man was arrested by the police. No injuries were reported.
