NEW YORK (PIX11) – Grammy Award-winning rock band Cage the Elephant will perform a series of shows in the tri-state area, Live Nation has announced.

The band will embark on a 45-concert North American tour to promote their sixth studio album, “Neon Pill.” The tour will include stops in major U.S. cities including Seattle, Chicago, Los Angeles and New York City.

“Neon Pill is the first record that we’ve consistently not been influenced by, and I mean that in a good way,” frontman Matthew Schultz said of their latest musical effort. “Everything definitely comes from us settling into finding our own voice. We’ve always taken inspiration from artists that we love, and sometimes we’ve even emulated some of them to some extent.”

Fans who want to see the band will have multiple opportunities. Cities in the three states include New York City, Bridgeport, Conn. and Lewiston, N.Y.
