1 man shot overnight near downtown Lansing

The 34-year-old man, who has not been identified, was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, LPD Sergeant Gino Tocco said.

Police were called to a location near Center and East Saginaw streets around 3:30 a.m. for a report of a shooting, Tocco said.

Police said no arrests have been made. Tocco said the shooting was not random; the investigation is ongoing.
