JetBlue begins offering Mint cabin on its flights from New York to JFK and Vancouver

JetBlue strengthens its premium offering in Canada by adding a Mint cabin to its nonstop flights between Vancouver and New York-JFK, the only airline to offer fully reclining seats from Western Canada to the U.S. East Coast. Starting July 21, the Airbus A321 with Mint cabin will replace the Airbus A220-300 on this route; the airline also operates a daily flight between Boston and Vancouver with Airbus A320s.

Mint cabin features

  • The Mint seat is a Thompson Aero Vantage Business Class configuration.
  • More storage space.
  • Two USB ports at each seat.
  • 4 of the 16 Mint seats are mini suites, which have a sliding door.
  • The seats are up to 57 cm wide and can be converted into a fully flat bed up to 203 cm long.
  • Toiletries provided by Hayward & Hopper.
  • Free fast wifi.
  • Free on-demand programs, movies and live flight maps.
  • Over 100 DIRECTV channels.

These Airbus A321s have a capacity of 159 seats: 16 Mint, 41 Even More Space and 102 Core. JetBlue has a total of 35 units with this configuration.

  • New York – Vancouver Flight B6 603 JFK 17:45 – YVR 21:00 daily flights.
  • Vancouver-New York Flight B6 604 YVR 22:30 – JFK 06:48+1 daily flights.

From Boston: Aruba, Bridgetown (Barbados), Grenada, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle-Tacoma, San Francisco, St. Thomas (U.S. Virgin Islands) and Sint Maarten.

From Newark: Aruba and Los Angeles.

From Fort Lauderdale: Los Angeles and San Francisco.

From New York-JFK: Aruba, Bridgetown, Grenada, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Liberia/Guanacaste, San Diego, Seattle-Tacoma, San Francisco, San Juan de Puerto Rico, Sint Maarten and St. Lucia.
