Airlines at Denver International Airport are still working to recover after Friday’s global technology outage tied to a CrowdStrike update.

Nearly 600 flights were delayed or canceled at DIA on Saturday, according to flight tracking data from FlightAware. As of 6 p.m., 152 flights were canceled and 410 did not depart on time.

United and Southwest had the most delayed flights on Saturday, with 178 United flights and 94 Southwest flights held up at the gate. Regional carrier SkyWest — the airline that operates United Express — delayed another 47 flights.

United accounted for the majority of Saturday’s cancellations at DIA, FlightAware reported. The airline canceled 129 flights, eclipsing Delta’s 22 canceled flights and American Airlines’ one canceled flight.

DIA first noticed the problem Thursday night when Frontier Airlines announced that its systems were experiencing an outage at Microsoft, affecting bookings, check-in, access to boarding passes and some flights.

More than 1,200 flights were delayed or canceled at DIA on Friday due to the chaos.
