Pauline Poe Evans, 95, of Savannah, Ga., formerly of Little Rock, Ark., received her wings on July 11, 2024. She was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Taheeda (Shaheed) Abdullah; son-in-law, Mustaffa Rehiem; two grandchildren, her parents, five sisters and three brothers. Left to cherish her wonderful memories are two daughters, Jamalliah Rehiem, of Little Rock, Ark., and Leois Carter (John), of Savannah, Ga.; four sons, Willie “Earl” Fisher, of Chicago, Ill., Eddie “Ray” Wyatt, of Little Rock, Ark., Johnny Carlock (Juana), of Desoto, Texas, and James “J.W.” West, of Aschaffenburg, Germany; two sisters, Emma Poe, of Rockford, Ill., Pearline Poe, of St. Paul, Minn.; one brother, Thomas (Gracie) Poe, of San Antonio, Texas; 22 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 36 great-great-grandchildren; an abundance of extended family and friends. Family hour will be held Friday, July 26, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 27, 11:00 a.m., 2nd Baptist Church, 1709 John Barrow Road, Little Rock, Ark.
