Diamond in the Rough and Chestnut Hill are scheduled to perform

The Newcomerstown Historical Society will host two concerts on the lawn behind the Temperance Tavern Museum. Diamond in the Rough will perform from 6 to 8 p.m. on August 2. Chestnut Hill Bluegrass Band will perform from 6 to 8 p.m. on September 7.

Financial seminar

Saylor Wealth Strategies will hold a free financial literacy seminar Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the community room of the village clerk’s office, featuring Art Saylor and Shelby Byland. For reservations, call 740-575-4782.

Party in the park

Christ Methodist Church is hosting Party in the Park on August 4th at Cy Young Memorial Park. Food is available from 5-6pm at Picnic Shelter 5 and free swimming from 6-8pm
