Daily Forecast | From First Alert Meteorologist Chris Still

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A stalled frontal boundary to our north will keep Georgia-Carolina weather mostly cloudy and wet for the next week. Clouds and a chance of rain will keep high temperatures a few degrees cooler than average, with highs a degree or two either side of 90 degrees each day.

Sunday will be mostly cloudy with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Highs will be in the upper 80s with southwest winds at 4 to 9 mph. Scattered showers with embedded thunderstorms will continue until about midnight Sunday night, then mostly cloudy tonight with lows in the lower to mid 70s. Winds will be out of the south at 2 to 4 mph.

No real change in this pattern is expected for the coming workweek, with scattered to numerous thunderstorms expected to develop each afternoon and evening. Morning lows will be in the low 70s around sunrise, with upper 80s and lower 90s for highs each afternoon. Winds will remain generally out of the southwest, between 5-10 mph most days.

Stay tuned for updates throughout the week!
