Celtics legend Dave Cowens shows off his shooting prowess at 67

It had been decades since Hall of Fame Boston Celtics player and Florida State legend Dave Cowens picked up a basketball as a player. But in 2016, the then 67-year-old Celtics icon taught a shooting class at his alma mater in Tallahassee, Florida.

The two-time Boston champion unleashed shot after shot without breaking a sweat in this clip below, only missing the first underhand free throw he attempted and making up for it with another shot backwards over his head. There’s no word on whether the former 1973 NBA Most Valuable Player is planning a comeback with those types of shots still within his grasp, but it could be worth investigating.

We’re kidding, but watch this clip of Cowens showing off his shooting skills for yourself. It’s worth it.
