The Congregation of St. Vincent de Paul has suspended a long-time volunteer with the organization after she was accused of sexually abusing a vulnerable woman

The Society of St Vincent de Paul, one of Ireland’s largest and most respected charities, has suspended a long-standing volunteer with the organisation after the volunteer was accused of sexually abusing a vulnerable woman who had asked the organisation for financial support.

The man, who cannot be named, is said to have attacked “Caroline” in his car before turning up at her home the next day and offering her money.
