It’s Brie Larson! The star’s acting high point came in 2015 with the release of the thriller Room — in which she played a kidnap victim who spends seven years trapped in a squalid shed where she cares for her son (Jacob Tremblay), who was conceived when her kidnapper raped her.

The blonde actress was homeschooled by her parents, who were both homeopathic chiropractors.

She suffered from painful shyness, yet at age six she became the youngest student to attend the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco.

“My parents were chiropractors and I was super shy. I wouldn’t let it go. Of course, it changed my life in so many ways,” she said of her acting class.

“But at a time when I was so shy and had such a hard time expressing myself, when I was six, I was actually like, ‘Okay, here’s a script for how to have a conversation,'” she explained. “The real core of how I understand how to have enjoyable conversations with people is based on weekly acting sessions.”

After her stint on The Tonight Show, Brie received sporadic work on projects including the sitcom Raising Dad and the films Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World and 21 Jump Street.

In 2005 she also released an album: Finally Out of PE.

The star appeared in the 2004 mega-hit 13 Going On 30, opposite Jennifer Garner, playing one of teenage Jenna’s mischievous friends, the Six Chicks.
