Denville man arrested for drunk driving, hit and run

MORRIS COUNTY — A 62-year-old Denville Township man, Mark Johnson, was arrested following a hit-and-run in the Cedar Lake area on Saturday, July 13, according to a news release from the Denville Police Department.

The investigation revealed that Johnson was under the influence at the time of the crash. He has been charged with driving under the influence and has been cited for reckless driving, reckless driving, failure to stay in lane, safety glass requirement, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to report an accident.

Johnson was released pending his court appearance.
