Four first teamers on the preseason offensive all-season chart, three on defense, two specialists




SPOKANE, Wash. — The Big Sky Conference has been named Montana State’s Brody Grebe was named the league’s Preseason Defensive MVP on Sunday, while eight other Bobcats earned Preseason All-Conference Team honors.

Grebe, a two-time All-America, is joined by linebacker Danny Uluilakepa and safety Rylan Ortt on defense. All three are seniors. Quarterback Tommy Mellott leads MSU’s offensive squads, joined by returning All-Americas Marcus Wehra tackle and a center Justus Perkins. Those three are seniors. Fullback Rohan Jonesa transfer from Maine, is a junior. Punter Brendan Zaal and long snapper Tommy Sullivan each of them was also mentioned.

Montana State’s nine preseason selections determine the conference. Eight players from UM and five each from Sacramento State and Idaho followed.
