Let yourself be seduced by the enchanting charm of Hawaii and discover its hidden treasures, just as I had the privilege to do.

Oahu

During my stay on Oahu, Hawaii’s third largest island, I discovered why it’s often considered the epicenter of the state. Home to the capital city of Honolulu and many popular tourist attractions, Oahu has so much to offer. I visited the famous Waikiki Beach, with its turquoise waters and golden sand, and the Pearl Harbor Memorial, which commemorates the Japanese attack in 1941. Exploring Diamond Head, an iconic volcanic crater with panoramic views of the island, was an unforgettable experience. I also discovered Hawaiian culture at the Bishop Museum.

Maui

Maui, nicknamed “the magical island,” enchanted me with its spectacular scenery, world-famous beaches, and laid-back vibe. I traveled the scenic Hana Route, winding past sheer cliffs, picturesque waterfalls, and lush rainforests. Snorkeling at Molokini, an underwater crater home to diverse marine life, was a highlight of my trip. Haleakalā National Park, with its dramatic volcanic crater and breathtaking views, is another iconic spot I had the chance to visit.

Hawaii (Big Island)

Hawaii, often called the “Big Island” to distinguish it from the state, is the largest and most diverse of the Hawaiian Islands. I explored Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, where I could safely observe the ongoing volcanic activity, including Kilauea, one of the most active volcanoes in the world. A visit to Mauna Kea, the state’s tallest mountain, gave me a great view of the stars from its world-famous astronomical observatory. The black sand beaches of Punalu’u and the green sands of Papakōlea are other unique attractions I was able to discover.

Kauai

Kauai, also known as the “Garden Island,” is known for its lush landscapes, dramatic cliffs, and breathtaking waterfalls. I explored Waimea Canyon, also known as the “Pacific Grand Canyon,” and sailed along the Na Pali Coast, with its steep cliffs and sea caves. The golden sands of Poipu were a great place to relax and soak up the sun, while Wailua River State Park offered opportunities to hike, kayak, and explore Hawaiian culture.

Molokai

Molokai, often called “the forgotten island,” impressed me with its preserved Hawaiian authenticity and peaceful ambiance. I explored the steep cliffs of Kalaupapa Peninsula, an ancient leper house site that is only accessible by boat or a spectacular hiking trail. Papohaku Beach, one of Hawaii’s longest white sand beaches, is a great place to relax and enjoy the island’s pristine natural environment.

Lanai

Once known for its pineapple plantations, Lanai is now a haven of tranquility, with secluded beaches, scenic hiking trails and a peaceful atmosphere. I explored the lush Garden of the Gods, discovered the historic remains of the abandoned town of Keomoku and relaxed on the pristine beaches of Hulopoe Bay.
