1 injured after reported shooting in west Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS — Officials with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said a road rage incident on the west side of Indianapolis led to a shooting Sunday evening.

According to department officials, officers responded to the 6400 block of W 11th Street on Sunday evening for a report of a person shot. IMPD said the person was reportedly shot on I-465 in an apparent road rage incident.

When officers arrived on scene, they found a person with gunshot wounds who was “awake and breathing,” according to IMPD.
