The Hallmark Channel actress who fell five stores from a balcony at St. Paul’s Hospital on May 26 has shared a message of gratitude weeks after her near-death experience.

Mamie Laverock, 20, wrote the message on her now-closed GoFundMe page on July 18, thanking fans and donors for their support. The message read:

“Thank you so much. I don’t even know what to say. My heart is full. Thank you again. I have no words to describe my gratitude. Love you guys. Thank you. MAMIE”

The GoFundMe page raised just over $39,000, after setting a goal of $30,000 for Laverock’s care.

Laverock underwent four successful surgeries after being placed on life support following the fall, which “shattered” her body.

“Her body has been shattered. She has undergone two 11-hour surgeries with two doctors working on her, a three-hour surgery and another surgery today. We have nothing but gratitude for the doctors and nurses who have been exemplary in her care since May 26,” read an update in early June.

Laverock previously had a “medical emergency” in Winnipeg on May 11 and was transferred to Vancouver.

Laverock is known for her role in the hit Hallmark Channel series When Calls the Heart, which has been filmed in Langley since 2014 and is in its 11th season. Her other credits include This Means War, A Series of Unfortunate Events and The Hollow Child.

Providence Health Care confirmed the fall happened at St. Paul’s Hospital but gave few other details at the time, citing privacy.
