The 20th year of NBA Summer Hoops in Las Vegas continued Saturday with seven consolation games leading up to Sunday’s semifinals. Here’s a look at the players who closed out their Summer League with a bang:

Trey Alexander, Denver

An undrafted free agent out of Creighton, Trey Alexander scored 19 points with a team-high seven rebounds in the Nuggets’ 91-82 win over the Pelicans. He also added three assists, a steal and a block to cap off an excellent five-game winning streak in Las Vegas. Alexander was excellent at getting to his spots all week, showing elite mid-range play and going 11-for-24 (45.8%) from 3-point range. Don’t be surprised to see him crack Denver’s backcourt rotation next season.

Taylor Funk, Washington

Funk capped off an impressive Summer League with his best game yet. The sharpshooter scored 29 points on 8 of 18 shooting — including 8 of 16 from long range — with five assists and four rebounds in the Wizards’ 91-79 win over the Bucks. Funk, a 6-foot-8 forward who played in the G League last season, has made a strong case for Washington’s final two-way roster spot.

Jaylon Tyson, Cleveland

Drafted 20th overall by the Cavaliers after a breakout season at Cal, Jaylon Tyson appeared primed for the NBA in Las Vegas. One game after narrowly missing a triple-double, Tyson had 23 points (9-10 FGs), five rebounds and three assists in a 100-93 win over the Pacers. In five Summer League games, Tyson averaged 15.4 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.4 assists.

Keyontae Johnson, Oklahoma City

The 50th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, Keyontae Johnson filled up the stat sheet with 20 points on 8 of 16 shooting to go with nine rebounds, six assists and a block. Johnson drilled a contested buzzer-beater before halftime and was the best player on the court in the Thunder’s 88-70 win over the Mavericks.

Blake Hinson, Los Angeles

With Dalton Knecht and Bronny James getting the night off, undrafted free agent Blake Hinson got a chance to show his range in the Lakers’ 107-81 win over the Bulls. Hinson was 7-for-12 from the field in the first half and finished with 25 points — including five 3-pointers — to go along with three rebounds and two assists.
