Boise employers seek to fill numerous positions at Idaho Department of Labor job fair • Idaho Capital Sun

According to a press release from the Idaho Department of Labor, there are more than 1,000 open positions in Boise, with employers looking to fill positions in a variety of fields.

“The three positions with the most vacancies in June were registered nurses, retail salespeople and software developers,” labor economist Jan Roeser said in the press release.

The Idaho Department of Labor will host a multi-employer job fair on July 24 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Hewlett Packard Campus in 11311 W. Chinden Blvd. in the Les Bois conference room to meet this demand.

Participating employers include Idaho Power, Boise State University, Fred Meyer, Idaho Youth Ranch, Amazon, Bogus Basin, Idaho Division of Human Resources, Ada County Highway District and many more.

Other available positions include general equipment operators, warehouse workers, pipe welders, snowmaking supervisors, research data analysts and senior buyers.
