Munich opens first alcohol-free beer garden

Munich is introducing its first alcohol-free beer garden as alcohol consumption in the city declines. “Die Null,” or “Zero” in English, opened last week and is located near Munich Central Station and the Old Botanical Garden on Karl-Stützel-Platz, EuroNews reports. The establishment will only offer non-alcoholic drinks in a bid to tap into the growing trend of reduced alcohol demand in Germany. As Germans increasingly drink less alcohol, new ventures like Die Null are springing up to cater to this changing preference.
