Coroner called to crash on I-10 East involving dangling 18-wheeler

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – The East Baton Rouge Coroner’s Office has responded to a truck crash on I-10 East.

DOTD traffic cameras show the truck dangling off a section of the highway around 8:30 a.m. on Monday, July 22.

Emergency services confirmed the crash occurred on I-10 East at the Mississippi River Bridge, near the I-10-I/110 intersection.

No information is available about the cause of the accident.

Drivers should take an alternate route.
