Special Package Offers Viking Volleyball Fans Tickets to Oregon, Sacramento State Matches Plus a Free Hat for $20

PORTLAND, Ore. — The Portland State volleyball program has a deal to put a hat on your head, just in time to blow it off in excitement.

The Vikings are selling a special ticket package that will get fans into two of the team’s premier matchups this fall AND earn them a free hat, all for $20. Fanw who purchase the package will receive one ticket each for the Vikings’ matches against Oregon (Sept. 6, 7 pm) and Sacramento State (Oct. 6, 7 pm), as well as a free Nike hat.

Both matches promise to be some of the best of the season for the Vikings. The Ducks are coming off back-to-back NCAA Elite Eight appearances, while the Hornets won the Big Sky regular-season title last season.


Additionally, the crowds for the Vikings’ recent home matchups against the Ducks and Hornets have been some of the best in the history of Viking Pavilion. The Vikings set a then-record when 635 fans attended the Ducks’ last trip to Portland on Aug. 28, 2022. The Vikings surpassed that twice since then, with both matches coming against the Hornets. Last season’s Senior Day match against the Hornets brought a record 813 fans to Viking Pavilion, who saw the Vikings hand the Hornets only their second conference loss of the season to that point.
