Bloom Trail HS Class Of 84 40th Reunion Set, Registration Closes Soon

Plans include a catered picnic and dinner at Scrementi’s Sept. 7–8. Attendees can purchase tickets for one or both—AND there’s swag!

STEGER, IL — Time is running out for the Bloom Trail High School Class of 1984 to get in on its 40th class reunion.

Set for Saturday, Sept. 7, the reunion will be held at Scrementi’s Restaurant, 3760 Chicago Rd., Steger, from 6 to 10 pm The event includes an open bar, wine during dinner, a family style dinner consisting of rolls and butter, garden salad, sliced ​​London broil with au jus, roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, mostaccioli with marinara sauce, California blend vegetables, coffee, tea and soft drinks.

Dance music will be provided by DJ “Megawatts” Jeff Watson. The cost is $65 per person for the dinner only by August 10.

A catered picnic is also planned for Sunday, Sept. 8, from 12 to 4 pm at Goodenow Grove, 27064 Dutton Rd, Beecher. The site is handicap accessible. The catered meal includes utensils, paper plates, napkins, water. The cost is $10 per person for the picnic only by August 10. Please bring your own adult beverage.

The total cost for the dinner and picnic together is $75 per person, organizers said.

All Class of 1984 alumni are welcome to attend both events or just one. Ticket pre-purchase is required; unfortunately, organizers cannot accept payments at the door for either day. Payments accepted via Zelle or check.

There’s also an engraved bar glass with the Trailblazer logo available via pre-order at $5 each. See the Google form for registration and glass purchase orders.

Registration and payment due no later than August 10. The only way to register and pay is via this Google Form which describes payment methods/details, organizers stressed. The form must be completed in addition to ticket purchase.

Themed apparel for the 40th reunion can be purchased separately online by August.
