Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken & Wings opens in Dover by Crumbl Cookies

DOVER—Nashville-style chicken restaurant chain Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken & Wings is opening in Capital Station later this year, according to R&R Commercial Realty.

The franchisee group cited development plans for downtown Dover and the proximity of Dover Air Force Base as reasons for expanding to the state capital.

The restaurant offers chicken wings, wraps, fingers, nuggets, their signature “Sando” sandwich and much more.

There is also a location planned in Wilmington, but the Dover location is expected to open first. The estimated opening date for the Dover location is fall/early winter 2024.

The chain says that if the expansion plans go ahead, it could open up to six more locations on the Delmarva Peninsula.
